Monday afternoon won't be as harsh as the weekend and the thaw will really kick in by midweek. For the first time this month, highs above the freezing mark are in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Next week, the overall pattern will shift. An upper-level ridge of high pressure will slide over our region, and it’ll lead to well above average temps all week.
