City officials are warning parking customers in downtown Asheville about a scam involving unauthorized QR code stickers placed on parking meters.

The city of Asheville, North Carolina, is warning visitors of a suspicious QR code sticker that has been reported on some parking meters.

Anyone who sees this type of sticker is asked to email parking@ashevillenc.gov or calling (828) 259-5792.
