The A.K. Smiley Library offers a free basic computer class beginning Thursday, April 5. Classes meet noon-2 p.m. Thursdays through April 26 in the library’s Assembly Room, 125 W. Vine St., Redlands.
The two main kinds of keyboards that are available are membrane, which is the most common, and mechanical. Membrane keyboards tend to be small and quiet, but they often don’t give users much feedback.
