As millions of Americans hunker down for a massive winter storm sweeping the country, new maps are offering updated forecasts of snow and ice accumulations.

A Cold Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Advisory for much of northeast Ohio starting at 1 a.m. on Friday and continuing through noon on Saturday.

The last few days brought moderating temperatures with plenty of sunshine across Boston and most of New England.

History will be made during the Opening Ceremony at the Milan Cortina Olympics.
