Tehran has vowed a 'crushing' response in retaliation for a daylight missile strike by the United States and Israel, as Israeli citizens were seen fleeing to their shelters amid missile alerts.

The US-Israeli attack comes just days after Donald Trump warned Tehran "bad things" would happen should the regime not agree on a nuclear deal.

Shelter access is severely lacking in poorer neighborhoods and towns, especially in Arab areas and in rural parts of the country.
