The Hullahalli Drinking Water Project is one of the best-maintained drinking water projects in Karnataka. Before the water of the River Kapila reaches households, it undergoes various processes. First, the raw water is pumped from the jackwell to the aerator at the Madapura plant in Nanjangud. The aerator removes the odour, and then alum or PAC solution is added to remove the turbidity. Next, this water is mixed with a coagulant in the flash mixer chamber and sent to the clariflocculator, where
