Hey, I'm finding the CPT code for a neuroplasty of the median nerve for carpal tunnel syndrome. I looked in the CPT index under "carpal tunnel". The correct CPT code for carpal tunnel syndrome decompression, which is a carpal tunnel release, is 64721. CPT code 64721 is for "neuroplasty and or transposition media nerve at carpal tunnel". Since patients typically only have one carpal tunnel released at a time, I'll need to go back to the documentation to see if it was the left or the right side. I

Hey, let's code it! If we're removing 24 skin tags, what CPT codes do we report? Skin tags are easier lesion services to code because the size, location etc don't matter, only the number. We start with 11200 for the first 15 lesions and then use the add-on code 11201 for each additional 10 lesions or part thereof.
